Project “Ripo droši” has been implemented in Saldus Secondary School with the support of SCHWENK Latvija

The project “Ripo droši” (Ride safe) was completed and a safe driving area was opened in the territory of Saldus Secondary School. The driving area provides children with the opportunity to acquire practical cycling skills, strengthening the theoretical knowledge acquired at school in the group where to study traffic rules. Thus, children are prepared for the exam to obtain the driving licence for a cyclist.

Cycling is an important stage in which the driver develops a sense of duty and responsibility for his or her behavior on the road, and respect for other road users.

The project has been implemented with the financial support of SCHWENK Latvija.
