SCHWENK Latvija and SCHWENK Northern Europe strengthens management team and welcomes Rolands Cepurītis as Product Technology and Commercial Director

SCHWENK Latvija and SCHWENK Norther Europe is expanding its management team with the appointment of Dr. ing. asoc. prof.  Rolands Cepurītis, Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Concrete Association, who assumes the role of Product Technology and Commercial Director for Latvia and Northern Europe as of 1st April. In this position, he will lead product development, innovation and commercial activities across Latvia, Finland, Sweden and Norway, supporting SCHWENK’s ambition to meet the rising demand for greener, more sustainable building materials.

The company continues to focus on diversifying its product portfolio, developing solutions that meet current and future customer needs aligned with high international standards and requirements in all markets. A central priority is accelerating innovations that reduce clinker factor and support the decarbonization of cement production. Rolands will play a key role in driving these efforts as the market increasingly demands low‑carbon materials and advanced technological solutions.

Rolands brings over 20 years of international experience across building materials production, cement, ready‑mix concrete, aggregates, admixtures, concrete contracting and academic research. His background includes serving as Chairman of the Latvian Concrete Association, former Partner, Board Member and CTO at Primekss Group, Founder of Petasum Engineering, and Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His academic credentials span Riga Technical University, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and NTNU.
