On April 24 SCHWENK Latvija joined the Latvian Diversity charter. It is a voluntary agreement aimed at promoting a respectful attitude and involving different groups of society. Within the Latvian Diversity charter, SCHWENK Latvija commits itself to building an inclusive organizational culture, protecting employees from discrimination, further strengthening the principle of equal treatment, prospective employees, partners and customers. Latvia has the fastest growing charter of diversity in Europe, with 43 participants joining.

In the middle of April, the cement department gathered nearly 30 tennis enthusiasts at the SCHWENK Tennis Tournament.

On April 13, a seminar on the use of concrete pavement for roads, streets and squares took place at the Science House of University of Latvia. The participants were introduced not only to the theory of the use of concrete pavement, but also visited several objects.

The speaker of the seminar was Lelde Dembovska, SCHWENK Latvija Concrete Pavement Technology Leader.
