Conversation festival LAMPA is a place where valuable conversations and exchange of ideas take place. SCHWENK Latvija participates in the Conversation Festival, bringing up to date issues relevant to the company, industry and society in expert discussions – environmental protection, sustainable production, responsible management and use of natural resources, prevention of shadow economy and corruption.

In order to discuss common values, mutual cooperation and future co-creation directions in creating the content of the festival, we invited the creative core of the LAMPA Conversation Festival – the organizing team – to visit the Brocēni cement plant. We presented the company, cement production and sustainability development of SCHWENK.

We hosted representatives of Getliņi EKO at the Brocēni cement plant. We introduced the cement production process, the use of alternative fuels, paying special attention to various aspects of environmental management and circular economy.

The guests were pleasantly surprised that the production of cement is a closed zero-residue process in which no waste or wastewater is generated.

After a three-year break, on September 2, SCHWENK Latvija customers and cooperation partners gathered at a customer event marking 175th anniversary of SCHWENK. At the event, the legendary Latvian band “bet bet” performed with a concert. This year “bet bet” celebrates its 30 years on the stage.
